The NEON Volunteer – Thank You Open Morning
Networking in East Oldham Neighbourhoods (NEON) hosted a volunteer celebration open morning at the NEON Oldham Hub.
This event brought together our valued volunteers from across our groups and projects to recognise their contributions, and celebrate the impact they have within our community.
As part of the NEON Volunteer Open Morning event we had:
- Short taster sessions of some of the projects and activities we offer (cooking, printing, crafting, workshop etc)
- A chance for volunteers to chat and socialise together
- Buffet and refreshments for everyone
- Breakfast for our Saturday volunteers
As recipients of The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2021, we are very proud to honour our volunteers who make the running of our community hub possible and this event was our way to say a big thank you to each and every one of them.
