The Cooking Group at NEON
Networking in East Oldham Neighbourhoods (NEON) hosts a Cooking group every Wednesday morning between 10am and 12noon at the NEON Oldham Hub. Primarily for participants with additional needs (although not exclusive) the Cooking Group provides opportunities to make new friends, socialise, learn new skills and have fun. The Cooking Group learns each week with supervision and guidance from a fully qualified tutor, the basics of cooking and meal preparation, recipe and cooking instruction following, using kitchen equipment and utensils. Each week the Cooking Group produces a delicious dish for the participants to eat for their lunch at the end of the session.
Please note that the Cooking Group is currently oversubscribed due to its popularity and is currently operating a waiting list. Therefore we ask anyone interested in participating to please contact the NEON Oldham Hub first to check their suitability and then (if suitable) their details will be added to the waiting list for the group.
