The Men’s Group at NEON
The Men’s Group aims to improve mental health and reduce feelings of isolation by providing opportunities to make new friends, socialise, learn new skills and have fun. Those that attend the Men’s Group have the opportunity to choose what activities they undertake.
They can assist with NEON projects, assist and utilise the workshop, play darts and/or pool, use the IT suite, read newspapers, or simply just come along for a brew and chat with other like-minded men. The activity list is not exclusive and the Men’s Group is always open to considering new ideas and activities.
The Men’s Group meet at the NEON Oldham Hub on a Tuesday 12noon until 2pm and on a Thursday 11am until 1pm.
NEON operates a strict criteria on participation in the Men’s Group given the nature of some of the activities that we undertake. Therefore we ask anyone interested in participating to please contact the NEON Oldham Hub first to check their suitability for the group.
